When you order a 1/2 beef, you can expect about 220-250 pounds of meat. The carcass breakdown is typically 85% ground beef and roasts and 15% steaks.
Once the beef has been delivered for harvesting, our processor will call you to discuss your preferred cutting instructions. This ensures you end up with the products you know and love. If you want to turn roasts into more ground beef, have burger patties made, and choose the thickness of your steaks, it’s your call!
